Although mentioned as first being made in the 15th Century, it is very rare to find sterling silver goblets from this age, and the majority available for purchase are from the 18th Century onwards. Georgian goblets tend to be plainer in style, while the Victorian period saw more decorative examples being created, with chased or engraved decoration and varying forms, and the 20th Century has produced some wonderful Art Deco, Arts & Crafts and Modernist designs. No matter the age or style, silver goblets are still highly desirable and look wonderful on the table.
