While bowls have been produced for thousands of years, it is rare to find sterling silver examples prior to the 17th Century. Silver bowls have been made in various sizes and designs since then to be used as serving pieces, as centrepieces for the table, and as decorative objects for dressing tables or side tables. From the plainer Neoclassical, to the elaborate Victorian, and the design lead 20th Century forms, there is a bowl to complement any interior.
