This interesting sculptural representation of a dove carries hallmarks for London in 1999, and the makers mark for the Morris Singer Foundry. The dove is number 2 of a limited edition of 25 manufactured in sterling silver, designed by Mina Sunar, and signed Mina, and MSF on the tail. The makers mark is cleary RHH but seems untracable in available records. The base is weighted for stability but the overall weight of the model, which mostly is the cast horse, is 55 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in Chester in 1906 by Berthold Muller, this very rare, and very handsome, Antique Sterling Silver Model of a Rhinoceros, is wonderfully made. The rhinoceros measures 4.25"(11cm) tall, by 9"(23cm) wide, by 3.25"(8cm) deep, and weighs 15.1 troy ounces. 

Hallmarked in London in 1908 by Mappin & Webb, this exquisite, Antique Sterling Silver Model of a Polo Horse and Player, is wonderfully detailed. The model measures 7.5"(19cm) tall, by 7"(18cm) wide, by 3"(7.5cm) deep. The wooden plinth measures 1.25"(3cm) tall, by 8.5"(21.5cm) wide, by 4.25"(11cm) deep. 1908 was the year in which Britain first hosted the Olympic Games, and the second time in which Polo was contested at the games. It seems likely that this model was commissioned to celebrate that event, which was won by the British team from Roehampton. (only 3 teams competed, all representing the British Olympic Association).

Carrying Import marks for London in 1982 by Bohemian Ellison & Co. Ltd., this charming, Sterling Silver Wine Cooler, is modelled as an owl, and is a wonderful statement piece for any bar. The wine cooler measures 15.25"(39cm) tall, by 8.5"(21.5cm) wide, by 8"(20cm) deep, and weighs 86.6 troy ounces.

Carrying import marks for 1937 by Israel Segalov, this very rare pair of Sterling Silver Owl Models, were originally made in Germany for the English market, by the great model making firm of Neresheimer & Sohne, and they can be seen in the firms original sales catalogue. Each owl measures roughly 6.25"(16cm) tall, by 5.5"(14m) from beak to tail. The pair together weigh 33. 2 troy ounces.

Hallmarked in London in 1976 by Garrard & Co. Ltd, this stunning Elizabeth II, Sterling Silver Model of a Stag, is realistically cast and chased, and stands on a marble base. The stag model on the base measures a very impressive 21.5"(55cm) tall, by 18"(45.5cm) wide, by 8.25"(21cm) deep.

Hallmarked in Edinburgh in 1997 by Hamilton & Inches, and designed and modelled by Victor Hayton for the World Wildlife Fund, this incredible, Elizabeth II period, Limited Edition Sterling Silver Model of an African Bull Elephant, is cast and chased in intricate detail, and is presented with a framed limited edition lithograph bearing the image of the elephant, signed by the artist and certifying this is model number two of only five cast. This amazing model measures 14.25"(36cm) tall, by 23"(58.5cm) from tail to tusk, by 9"(23cm) across the waist, and weighs a very impressive 444 troy ounces.

Hallmarked circa 2000 by Patrick Mavros, this quite stunning, Sterling Silver Centrepiece Suite, would make a wonderful African landscape scene on any table, and comprises 9 freestanding elephant models, 4 acacia tree candle holders, and a central 'tree of lights' candelabrum with 3 fixed elephant models to the base. In total the suite weighs 683 troy ounces, and will hold 12 candles when all candle holders are being used.
