Designed by Alex Styles, manufactured by Wakely & Wheeler in London in 1961, and retailed by Garrard & Co. of 112 Regent Street London, this stunning Sterling Silver Centrepiece, features a superb cutwork cover featuring an abstract elongated star design, which has been hand cut using a piercing saw. The interior has been gold plated, which contrasts beautifully with the polished silver exterior. The centrepiece measures 2.25"(6cm) tall, by 13"(33cm) wide, by 4.25"(11cm) deep, and weighs 28.3 troy ounces.
