Hallmarked in London in 1837 by Edward Edwards II, this handsome, Antique, Victorian, Sterling Silver Snuff Box, has a gilt interior and engine turned decoration to the outside. The cartouche on the lid is engraved with a crest of a bee, and the inside lip is engraved for Wm. B. Boatman. The snuff box measures 1"(2.5cm) tall, by 3.25"(8.5cm) wide, by 2.5"(5cm) deep, and weighs 4.2 troy ounces.
The crest is that of the Sewell family.

Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1836 by Edwin Jones, this handsome, Antique Sterling Silver Snuff Box, features a cast and applied border to the lid, engine turned decoration to the sides and base, a gilt interior, and a presentation inscription to the lid. The snuff box measures 1.25"(3cm) tall, by 3.75"(9.5cm) wide, by 2.5"(6.5cm) deep, and weighs 5.3 troy ounces. The snuff box is engraved- "Presented to Mr John Jack - by the - Canbroe Iron Co. - 1839".
