Hallmarked in London in 1831 by Edward, Edward junior, John & William Barnard, this stunning, William IV period, Antique Sterling Silver Christening Mug, retains it's original gilding, with a cast and applied grape and vine frieze, and an ornate handle. The christening mug, which is presented in it's original box, measures 3.5"(9cm) tall, by 4.25"(11cm) from handle to side, by 3"(7.5cm) deep, and weighs 5.47 troy ounces.
The box measures 4"(10cm) tall, by 8"(20cm) wide, by 6.25"(16cm) deep.
