Hallmarked in London in 1831 by Charles Reily & George Storer, this very handsome, Antique, William IV period, Sterling Silver Box, is plain in design, with reed borders, and an engraved crest to the lid. The box measures 3.5"(9cm) tall, by 8.25"(21cm) wide, by 6.5"(16.5cm) deep, and weighs 39 troy ounces.
The crest is that of the Chatteris family.
