Made circa 1890 in Hanau by Storck & Sinsheimer, this striking, 800 standard, Antique Silver Jardinière, is in the Art Nouveau taste, and features a removable gilt metal liner. The jardinière measures 6"(15cm) tall, by 18"(46cm) wide, by 10.5"(26cm) deep.

Carrying German silver marks used by Koch & Bergfeld from c.1870-1885 in Bremen, this impressive, Antique Sterling Silver Jardiniere, is oval in shape, and ornate in design, with wonderful chased and engraved decoration to the body, winged cherub surmounts to the vacant cartouches on both sides, and figural handles. The jardiniere measures 8.75"(22.5cm) tall, by 26"(66cm) wide, by 10.75"(27.5cm) deep, and weighs 168.9 troy ounces (5.25kg).
