Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1879 by Atkin Brothers, this attractive pair of Antique, Victorian, Sterling Silver Fish Servers, are in the aesthetic taste, with engraved decoration to the blade and tine, pistol shape handles, and an engraved family crest to the blade. The fish serving knife measures 11.75"(29.5cm) wide, by 2"(5cm) deep, and the fish serving fork measures 8.75"(22cm) wide, by 2"(5cm) deep.
The crest is that of the Mercer family.

Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1881 by Elkington & Co., this very attractive set of Victorian Antique Sterling Silver & Mother of Pearl Fish Eaters and Serving Pieces, is presented in it's original box, and comprises 12 pairs of fish knives and forks, all featuring wonderful engraved decoration, and a fish serving knife and fork, with engraved and pierced detailing. Each fish knife measures 9"(23cm) long, by 1"(2.5cm) wide, each fish fork measures 7.75"(20cm) long, by just under 1"(2.5cm) wide, the serving knife measures 12"(35cm) long, by 2"(5cm) wide, and the serving fork measures 10"(25.5cm) long, by 2"(5cm) wide.
The box measures 4.5"(11.5cm) tall, by 15.25"(38.5cm) long, by 12"(30.5cm) wide.
