The cup and cover measures 19"(48cm) tall, by 12"(30cm) from handle to handle, by 8"(20cm) deep and weighs 81 troy ounces. The coat of arms is that of John Frederick Sackville, 3rd Duke of Dorset, Lord Lieutenant of Kent and the British Ambassador to France during the lead up to the French Revolution.
