Hallmarked in Sheffield in 1897 by Henry Atkin, this Novelty, Victorian, Antique Sterling Silver Model of an Indian Cow and Calf, is wonderfully made, and can be used as boxes as the backs of both are removable. This unique piece bears the artist's signature on the base. The model measures 6.5"(17cm) tall, by 5.5"(14cm) wide and weighs a substantial 45 troy ounces.

The makers mark is cleary RHH but seems untracable in available records. The male pheasant measures 11.5"(29cm) in length, the female measures 10.75"(27cm) in length and together they weigh 20 troy ounces.
