This unusual pair of Victorian, Antique Sterling Silver Entree Dishes, are hexagonal in shape, and feature applied decoration and ornate handles to the lids. The domes are hallmarked in London in 1843 by Garrard & Co., with the bases hallmarked in London in 1870 by Stephen Smith, presumably made for the domes as they fit perfectly and carry the same crest. Each entree dish measures 8.5"(21cm) tall, by 12"(31cm) in diameter, and the pair weigh a substantial 127 troy ounces.
