Hallmarked in Birmingham in 1878 by W. Spurrier & Co., this very stylish 4 piece, Victorian, Antique Sterling Silver Tea Set, is elegantly plain in design, with angular silver finials to the teapot and coffee pot, and gilt interiors to the cream jug and sugar bowl. The set together weighs 60.74 troy ounces.
The coffee pot measures 8.75"(22cm) tall, by 9"(23cm) from handle to spout, by 5.25"(13.5cm) deep. The teapot measures 5.75"(14.5cm) tall, by 8.5"(21cm) from handle to spout, by 5.5"(14cm) deep. The cream jug measures 4.5"(11.5cm) tall, by 4.5"(11.5cm) from handle to lip, by 3.5"(9cm) deep. The sugar bowl measures 4.25"(11cm) tall, by 6.75"(17cm) from handle to handle, by 4.25"(11cm) deep.
