Hallmarked In 1763
Hallmarked in London in 1763 by Emick Romer, this attractive pair of George III period, Antique Sterling Silver Candlesticks, feature corinthian columns and ornate bases with sunken fluting, acanthus leaf corners and gadroon borders. Each candlestick is engraved with a crest which is likely that of the the Gurdon family, Barons of Cranworth. Each candlestick measures 10.75"(17cm) tall, by 4.5"(11.5cm) wide, by 4.5"(11.5cm) deep, and they are filled for balance.
