Hallmarked in London in 2005 by Ane Christensen, this wonderful pair of Elizabeth II period, Sterling Silver Tea Light Holders, are part of the 'Ribbon Series'. Each candle holder measures 3"(7.5cm) tall, by 12"(30cm) wide, by 6"(15.5cm) deep, and the pair together weigh 22.53 troy ounces.
Ane Christensen trained at the Sir John Cass Faculty of Art, as well as with Howard Fenn and Alfred Pain in London, obtaining her MA at the Royal College of Art in 1999. Her pieces can be found in many public collections, including: Aberdeen Art gallery, Liverpool Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum, Birmingham Museum, Crafts Council Collection, Goldsmith's Company Collection, Fitzwilliam Museum, Museum of Decorative Arts Copenhagen, and the Koldinghus Museum in Denmark.
